The Parlor Story
Parlor Dental was born of Dr. Igor Chikunov's vision to build a beautiful modern space for all to receive quality dental care.   

We currently offer:
- Preventative Care
- Restorative Dentistry
- Prosthodontics (Aesthetic Dentistry)
- Emergency Services

We believe that quality, accountability, and transparency are the most important qualities in a dental office. Thats why our team does only what we're good at and trained for — not just everything under the sun.

Our long term vision is to bring all the dental specialists under one roof so you don't have to travel around town (or throughout Westchester) anymore.

Everyone deserves access to the best possible preventive dental care, which is why we offer a dental membership option. We've also partnered with Cherry payment plans, so all our patients can fit their dental needs into their monthly budget.

Meet Your Dentist

Dr. Igor Chikunov earned his DDS at New York University, College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he completed a three-year program at the Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at New York University. He further advanced his education by becoming a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist through a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

After graduating from the Maxillofacial program, Dr. Chikunov returned to his alma mater and currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Fixed and Implant Prosthodontics Simulation. He is also practicing in Tribeca, NYC.

Outside of his dental endeavors, he is a tinkerer and enjoyer of the visual arts. He loves interior design, trying new foods and traveling around the world (doing outreach or seeing the sights).

Btw... his youngest daughter was recently accepted into NYU's combined undergrad and dental program. She will be joining us as well upon graduation :)

Lucy Sunik, RDH

Lucy is our Hygienist. She is extremely fashionable and has over 20 years of experience as an RDH. When she is not seeing patients at Parlor, she is teaching at Touro School of Dental Medicine or doing crossfit at her gym.

Nicole Chikunov

Nicole is backbone of the operations at Parlor Dental, she is the person you're speaking to on the phone and the one who's explaining your treatment plan. When she's not at the practice, you can find her searching for the best shopping deals on designer fashion.

James Arce

James is our Dental Assistant. He’s currently applying to dental programs to get his license recognized in the US — having previously graduated from dental school in the Dominican Republic. In his free time, he loves to play golf and run races (you may see him in the iron man 70.3)!

Olive

Olive is our Therapy Dog in training! She's currently learning how to politely greet our dog loving patients, and help ease their dental related anxieties before and during their appointments. When she's not at Parlor, you can find her chasing a ball or her friends in the park!
